Mt. Stanhope is home to a wide variety of bird species.
Many species of native fauna, particularly native birds, have apparently been completely eradicated from Grenada (Grenada parrot , Shaw’s racer, scaly-breasted thrasher) while other species are in significant decline.
There may be fragment populations of endemic species such as the Grenada Hook-billed kite among others in the unexplored areas of Mt. Stanhope estate. Would you want to the person who discovers it?
